Case Study: Cash Flow Problem

Situation: Many businesses, in this case a financial services client suffer from cash flow problems form time to time. The trick is to minimise or eradicate these problems.

Action: By analysing the sales process Kestrel Accountancy and Tax identified a "bottle neck" in the process which meant sales invoices were not being raised on the completion of the work. As a consequence nobody knew within the business when to start collecting the cash, but everyone was busy.

By implementing a simple procedure of tracking the time frame of the work, invoices were raised, cash collected and the business grew.
